Hannah B.G. Shaw is a 40-bed senior Residential and 67-bed Skilled Nursing facility in Middleboro, MA. The Shaw Home provides elderly and bedridden guests a comfortable living environment with a complete continuum of care.
Brattan Industries and its partner, Cutler Associates, renovated 40 existing guest suites and constructed a new 25-room addition to the Skilled Nursing facility. Working in an active nursing home required careful planning and coordination with the facility’s staff and guests. All existing electrical and life safety systems were carefully maintained and monitored. The facility’s electrical service was upgraded and a new emergency generator was installed. The renovated rooms and new addition received new light fixtures, fire alarm safety system, nurse call systems, and security apparatus.
Upon completion of the project, The Shaw Home was rated twice by U.S. News & World Report in the top 25 nursing facilities in the nation.
