The Sheraton Tara Framingham is a contemporary hotel set in a Tudor-style brick building located off the busy Massachusetts Turnpike just 15 minutes from downtown Boston.
In 2014, Brattan Industries completed a comprehensive renovation of the hotel’s lobby, 2 restaurants, tavern, and conference center. Work progressed while maintaining guest reservations and dining services. The lobby and restaurants were completely gutted and architecturally renovated with new decorative light fixtures, electrical service upgrades, fire alarm replacement, state of the art lighting controls, and PA system. The biggest challenge was maintaining the old fire alarm system while converting to a new addressable system. Working around arriving and departing guests required careful coordination with hotel staff.
The project increased the hotel’s banquet and conference dining accommodations by 100%.
