Brattan Industries is growing and we are seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our team. We are looking for a professional individual interested in a long-term construction management position in the electrical services field who has a minimum of 5-10 years in an electrical services company and project management experience in electrical construction running multiple projects from bid stage to completion. Duties include: project administration, purchasing, safety, scheduling, contract administration, estimating and business development. Qualified applicants will hold a valid Journeyman Electrical License (MA/NH), Master is a plus. Prior field experience is a must. Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Office) and have strong written and oral communication skills as well as strong attention to detail with an emphasis on project budgeting. Must be able to multitask and sufficiently manage multiple accounts at any given time. We seek a Project Manager with the ability to mentor, supervise and promote company goals and goodwill.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. This is a field position that requires a high degree of comfort when it comes to managing a designated team to ensure the successful fulfillment of deadlines up until project completion. As the field person of contact, it is necessary to have great communication and interpersonal skills because this position works among several others and continuously interacts with our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and adjust efficiently to handle daily project demands that could include, but are not limited to, project changes, ordering materials, attending progress meetings and scheduling among other trades.

Requirements

  • Active MA journeyman electrician license.
  • Prior experience in a hands-on field management position in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction is a must.
  • Knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and construction safety requirements.
  • Prior experience with fire alarm and high/low voltage systems.
  • Prior experience with tele/data systems is preferred.
  • Valid OSHA-10 card, OSHA-30 is a plus.
  • Ability to promote, support and maintain a positive and safe work environment for all team personnel.

The majority of our projects are concentrated within Massachusetts, but spread throughout New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York. These projects involve, but are not limited to, fire alarm installation, high/low voltage systems, tele/data wiring, industrial piping and underground electrical work.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid MA journeyman electricians license; additional state licenses in NH, CT and/or RI is a plus.
  • Previous field experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical contracting.
  • Valid OSHA-10 card.
  • Must be willing to do some minor traveling.
  • Must be a team player.

  • Willing to do minor traveling.
  • A team player with an eagerness to learn and advance their electrical skills.
